so, i was able to see the movie Twilight with like, all my best buddy people (minus Selia-stuck in L.A.) and honestly, i thought it was pretty darned good. i wish it stayed closer to the book plot-wise and the order of events, etc but overall it really was a beautiful film. i agree with some of the people i've talked to (who saw it before me) in that Twilight didn't have much of the same plot as the book but the cinematography was amazingly gorgeous. i would see it over and over just for the forest scenes, even though they messed up the part with the meadow and the sparkles and the sunlight (the 'sparkles' on Edward looked like he was sweating profusely at one point, tee hee).

but anyhooo, i am currently in love with Bella's Lullaby...its so pretty, although the one (how many others were there to choose from?) they didn't pick was equally as beautiful, and actually sounds a bit more like a lullaby than a...ballad, or something...

and i really really REALLY want an Edward for myself like almost every other Twilight fan (minus y'all that are on Team Jacob) or at least someone that would write a freakin lullaby for me! lol

and you bet your buttons ima get me a Twilight shirt.

i hate hierarchy in schools between students. i'm so tired of others thinking they're better than you and shoving it in your face like your the dumbest piece of shit there. you try to talk to someone you think is your friend and they act like they don't know you and blow you off like your a piece of dirt.

this is seriously becoming a problem here at my school, and as a senior this year, i'm tired of trying to tolerate it thinking 'oh, its just a fad/ faze and people are just trying to figure out their place here, it'll stop.' yea right. its just gotten worse.
at my school, we have different emphases we auditioned for. we have classes in the afternoons for our specific emphasis (mine is Visual Arts). being a non-preforming art emphasis, we don't get SHIT. i mean, its gotten better over the years so we're getting more but if you're a dancer or a vocalist you are automatically one of the 'favoured' students because you're a performer. you don't have to pay attention to any rules and you can get away with a lot of disrespect. its so terrible. people's egos get a BIG boost depending on their emphasis, its just not right.
i thought i had friends in these other emphases but i was so wrong. sure, some of them are nice but so many of them have a thing for having a bitch-ass bad attitude toward everyone because they think they're better than EVERYONE.
im so tired of this bullshit.

sorry for ranting but i can't stand this anymore.

so i just got back *recently* from camping in Tahoe. we were over in Emerald Bay which was very pretty, but very smoky, too many fires are smokin' up the skies around there. seriously, when we went to the lake, we couldnt see the Nevada side, or any other side for that matter. one of the little girls with us thought we were back home in the bay area at the beach, thats how smoky it was. but it was still fun. lots of 'smores and ghost stories.

we even had a bear visit us late one night. it was a juvenile, and it tried getting on our table...my friend freaked out, it was kinda funny but i felt bad for the bear because it supposedly lost its mom so thats why it was haunting the campsites, it didn't know how to forage for itself...poor thing. but yea.

i've missed Tahoe.

I GOT MY EYEBROW PIERCED!!!! I'M SO EXCITED BECAUSE IT LOOKS SO GOOOOOOD it doesn't even hurt really, and i cant WAIT to get new barbells to put in, lol. i had such an adrenalin high when i got it i didn't even realize it when the guy was done.
I went to Zebra in Berkeley, most NICEST people evar. really. i even got my mom to get one of those bumper stickers that says: "My Honor Student gets pierced at Zebra" but i don't know if she'll really put it on her car...i should have gotten one for my dad....lol

I CAN'T WAIT FOR SUMMER! i'm so excited. i'm going to the beach and Great America as much as POSSIBLE. really though, i did barely anything last summer, i need to get my butt up and do something.
